Jeepform, Freeform and what goes in between
Freeform and Nordic larp evangelist danish ex-pat based in Malmö, Sweden.
Dear Frederik Berg,
My name is Thai Divone and I’m a roleplayer from Israel. As part of my activity in this country, I am a member of the Israeli Society of Roleplaying. This society has a publishing house called “Giborim” (“Heroes”, in English). In this publishing house I serve as an editor, and from September onwards I’ll be the editor in chief.
Part of our aim in this publishing house is making accessible, in Hebrew, great content from all around the world, showcasing the depth and breadth of the roleplaying world.
As a longtime admirer of yours and your associate’s work, I want to bring Jeepform all the way to Israel.
What I have in mind is a book of ten games, five classic Jeepform games and five original, Israeli written games in the Jeepform tradition.
But, before I can do that, I want to get your blessing for such a project. In other words, I won’t embark on this journey without your approval.
Will you be so kind as to let us embark on this journey? If you do give your approval, are there any conditions under which you want us to work – price limits; games that can, or cannot, find there place in the book? Is there anything else that is important for you to say or comment? This is a project that is dear to my heart, and I want to do it the right way. The right way, of course, is together, as much as we can.
Thanks in advance,
